Friends of Jerusalem College of Technology (FJCT) is a national, not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Our purpose it to bridge the passions of Americans to the academic endeavors of the Jerusalem College of Technology, one of Israel's most prestigious technological institutions.
Friends of Jerusalem College of Technology was founded in 1976 and is based out of New York City. We remain resolute in our mission for the advancement of hitech, STEM studies, and equal opportunity for all students in Israel.
The American Friends of the Jerusalem College of Technology’s mission is to provide critical financial resources to the JCT so that the institution can enable diverse segments of Israeli society to become educated, productive members of Israel’s work force.
JCT’s goal is to prepare students to enter Israel’s industrialized high tech and scientific communities and encourage them to make innovative contributions and advancements to Israeli society and build Israeli industry. While raising funds and augmenting awareness for the college, FJCT facilitates the college recruit new students, fund research projects and preparatory programs, while providing scholarships to students in need. FJCT fosters the vision of the college by pronouncing women's empowerment in STEM studies, advancing the security industry of Israel, and granting tools and resources for ultra-Orthodox students to create their very own careers - all while growing Israel as the "startup nation".
