English Speakers Program for Overseas Students

One Year English Speakers' Program for Men - Spend an exciting year of study in Israel in a top level Beit Midrash program enhanced by a stimulating and varied academic program at one of Israel's leading colleges - Jerusalem College of Technology - Machon Lev.

The Beit Midrash Program - Students of the English Speakers' Program will learn with all other JCT - Machon Lev students in the Beit Midrash. In addition to the shiurim given in English in the English Speaker's Program, JCT offers 26 shiurim in Hebrew ranging in level from beginners to smicha.

The Academic Program - 32 academic credits are being offered in English. A sample of courses given in English includes Computer Science, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Internet Design and Programming, Environmental Science, Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Psychology, Physics 1 and 2, Business Ethics, Hebrew Ulpan.

Tiyulim - Tiyulim are an integral element of the Israel experience. It is through these frequent tiyulim that JCT - Machon Lev seeks to impart to each individual student a firm sense of Ahavat Eretz Yisrael.

Students are housed in a new dormitory in Machon Lev's 14 acre campus. Two boys are placed in each room which comes with a private bathroom and shower. Each dormitory room is equipped with a refrigerator. Students can arrange for cellular phones. All meals are provided on weekdays,  Shabbatot, as well as during Sukkot and Pesach vacations. Sports facilities are available for use during breaks. Students have free access to computer labs, including e-mail and internet.
Tuition is $14,500. Scholarships are available.

English Speakers Program for Women - The Jerusalem College of Technology is proud to announce the opening of a new one-year study opportunity for women at Machon Tal. Following JCT's tradition of combining Jewish and academic studies to produce highly regarded professionals who are committed to Torah and Mitzvot, the English Speakers Program for Women at Machon Tal offers high school graduates and students who have already spent their first year in Israel a positive Jewish experience in an accepting, pleasant environment that facilitates personal and spiritual growth, while offering the student quality academic courses in a variety of disciplines and the opportunity to begin career preparation.

Four Year Degree Program  

Young religious English speakers looking to pursue their college education in Israel may need assistance with Hebrew in order to cope with their studies. Furthermore, they would like to remain in a religious environment and continue their Torah studies. The English Speakers' Program enables these students to integrate into JCT by giving them the opportunity to study their first year in English, along with a Hebrew Ulpan, thus, by the second year they are ready to continue their studies in Hebrew.
