JCT
Women’s School of Engineering
The
Women’s School of Engineering, established in 1999 and
fully accredited by the Israel Council of Higher Education,
is the youngest addition to JCT. What makes it
unique among all schools is that it provides the opportunity
for women to study engineering in a non-coed environment.
Varying cultural, religious and family needs among women in
Israel are further accommodated by having classes at two
sites in the country – Machon Tal in Jerusalem and
Machon Lustig in the Tel Aviv area – each with fully
equipped laboratories and in-house infant day-care centers.
At The Women’s School of Engineering, women have the
opportunity to study academic subjects in high-tech
engineering and management. These women will
subsequently be able to take their place in Israel’s growing
high-tech industry and make their much-needed contribution
in this field.
A unique combination of degree programs and Jewish Studies
enables the Jerusalem College of Technology to produce
students attuned successfully both to an academic career and
the Jewish way of life, thus enabling them to make a
contribution to Israel’s high-tech community and the Jewish
world as well.
