Louis Libin
CEO & President - Broad Comm Group

Louis Libin, President and CEO of the Broad Comm group, is internationally renowned for his RF design and business experience. Mr. Libin headed the Communication Committee in 3 summer Olympics and 2 winter Olympics. At age 34 he became CTO/Chief of Wireless technology for the General Electric Company, managing the entire Broadcasting, wireless and satellite for the largest company in the world. Mr. Libin also served as CTO for the NBC television network.

Mr. Libin has served on the board of directors of many companies, helping them to grow successful and independent. He has brought strategic alliances, financial support, product support, and manufacturing support to many new ventures. Louis has experience in bringing new products to market, and continues to advise companies.

Louis Libin was educated in electrical engineering, physics and engineering management. He has also partnered on many occasions with the FCC itself, on actual operational projects as well as international study groups. He has also written numerous scientific papers on many subjects.

Louis Libin is the point person for Broad Comm RF operations that has built a world-renowned reputation for getting the job done. Louis has gone to many remote locations, small and large, from a baseball game or other sports venue, to large, Olympic-sized events.

Louis is a member of the SBE, and has a relationship with many of the nationwide frequency coordinators due to the many coordination that Libin has done across the country. Mr. Libin represents the U.S. government, the FCC and the U.S. State Department at the International Telecommunication Union, the ITU, a specialized agency of the United Nations, in Geneva.

Louis was appointed in 1989 to be the official spokesman for the United States on Wireless Data Systems. Louis Libin has organized and attended many international UN-based conferences on Radio Systems.

In 1987, Louis Libin was the First Runner Up, in the National Society of Professional Engineers, NSPE Congressional Fellowship - Washington, DC. Libin has been a member of the NY State Board of Directors - National Society of Professional Engineers beginning in 1981.

Louis is a founding member of WERT, (Wireless Emergency Response Team) that lunched Following the 9/11 tragic events by FEMA and telecommunications entities, including Verizon and Bell.
