2005 Awards Dinner

On November 30, 2005,
The American Friends of the Jerusalem College of
Technology hosted its annual Fall Dinner as
part of its fund raising endeavors. Each year
Friends of
JCT selects prominent persons to honor.
These individuals serve as exemplary role models
for young people and represent the values embraced by
the College -- gender equality, diversity, technology
and strong ethical values.

The guests of honor this
year were Karenann Terrell, Vice President and CIO, Chrysler
Group and Mercedes-Benz North America and Thomas Ahn, Vice
President, Real Estate, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Barry
Akrongold, Chairman, Fortune Financial & Investment
Corporation. Ms. Terrell received the Women’s
Corporate Technology Award; Mr. Ahn received the
Jerusalem Humanitarian Award; and Mr. Akrongold received the
Builder of Jerusalem Award.

Dinners have included the top ranking executives from
notable legal and real estate firms in the metropolitan
area. In 2004, the honorees were Leonard Grunstein,
Esq., currently Partner at Troutman Sanders LLP; Patricia
Morrison, Executive Vice President and CIO of Office Depot;
and Congressman Charles B. Rangel, US House of
Representatives, 15th Congressional District of
